How to perform strength training at home?

Strength training is also called weight training and there are multiple benefits of performing strength training at home. It saves time to go to the gym and also it is low in cost. You can workout anytime and most importantly your privacy is maintained. 

So there are many exercises which you can perform without any equipment and these exercises help you to build muscle strength and endurance.  So let's begin...

Before starting your workout, do some stretching and warm-up exercises.

Once your muscles are warmed up and ready to move, you can start this series of exercises.

  1. Push-ups

Do standard push-ups 3 sets of 15 repetitions. If you are new so you can do half push-ups by resting your knees on the floor. Push-ups are the best exercise for the upper body parts. It supports your Chest, Back, and Shoulders. 


  1. Free weight Squats 

Do free-weight squats 3 sets of 20 repetitions. Free weight squat is an exercise for the lower body parts. It supports your legs and glutes. 


  1. Lunges 

Perform 3 sets of 10 repetitions with each leg of Lunges. This is the best exercise for hamstrings and quadriceps. 


  1. Mountain Climber 

Mountain climber is the best exercise for the overall body. It supports the core, arms, back, and legs. Perform 3 sets of it and take 1-minute rest between the sets. 


  1. Crunches 

Perform 3 sets of 20 repetitions. This exercise is for your increased core muscle strength. It supports abs muscle. 


  1. Planks 

Planks help to build strength in the core, arm, shoulder, and legs. Do 3 sets of 1-minute planks for better results. Planks increase the endurance of the overall body.
