Taking care of our eyes is one of the most essential tasks in our daily lives. The eyes being one of the most delicate organs of our body , need special care and attention. Here are few tips which you need to follow to take care of your eyes:
a)Consume a balanced diet: a balanced diet contains all the vitamins and minerals needed by your body. Make sure your diet includes a good amount of fruits and green leafy vegetables and fishes which have a good amount of omega-3 fatty acids. These food items are very good for your eyes.
b)Give your eyes proper rest: avoid spending too much time on laptops and mobile phones. The rays emitted by these devices are way too harmful to your delicate eyes. Take a break every 20 minutes while on your laptop or phone.
c)Wear sunglasses when going out during the daytime: sun exposure can actually cause a lot of damage to your eyes. There is an increased risk of cataracts and macular degeneration. So wearing sunglasses when going out during the daytime is a must.
d)Exercise daily: exercises help to keep your blood sugar level and blood pressure level normal which further helps in keeping your eyes healthy. A raised blood-sugar or blood-pressure level can cause a lot of damage to your eyes.
